A multifaceted artist, her work spans drawing, sculpture, writing, and installation. Driven by the desire to understand her personal history and the territories she inhabits, she feeds her research with the landscapes she encounters, as well as with questions surrounding generational transmissions, skills, doubts, and traumas.

Nina Boughanim was born in 1995 in Marseille, where she lives and works. An artist working across various territories from sculpture to drawing to writing and installation, she trained in trompe l’oeil decoration, studied for a few months at the Berlin Academy of Fine Arts, and graduated with honors from the Marseille School of Fine Arts in 2022.
