If « Tout doit disparaître » focused on the materials and commodities that shape bodies, the exhibition Show Apartment is situated in a later future: one in which the bodies themselves have disappeared.

The works unfold within a space emptied of human presence. A show apartment, an unoccupied holiday home, an Airbnb rental, a site of transit or consumption: this environment is designed to accommodate life, yet its inhabitants seem to have vanished. Suspended between use and abandonment, this liminal space outlines a world in which traces of existence are gradually absorbed by logics of circulation, profitability, and optimisation.

The exhibition examines the ways in which contemporary economic systems produce forms of erasure. While industrial capitalism directly exploited bodies, its contemporary forms tend to render them invisible. Behind the apparent fluidity of exchange, logistical flows, and rental or service platforms, human presences dissolve into standardised, interchangeable, and perpetually available spaces. The home becomes a set, dwelling becomes a product, and lived experience is transformed into consumable content.
